Hopes For Heroes
Purpose
This event is designed to help the community and the veterans who need assistance. The community has a need to donate their items that are no longer needed, the veterans may need them. We have two recruiting offices, a VFW, and a Native American Center for veterans in Los Lunas. Have they met to support each other and does the community know about them? For that matter do the veterans in the community know each other? This is an annual community event held in July to help/assist where we can.

Donations Information
All donations should be dropped off between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and any donations brought in after the shut down time could be donated to the Big Brothers’/Big Sisters’ bins around town and Alalante. These other sites often have no set donation time and most often do not take big items.

The event will take place in Los Lunas, New Mexico at the field near Leftovers Store and McDonald’s Restaurant.
